Why does the service cost more than a direct processing API?
A direct API provides a technical engine. DataScribe provides the production workflow around it: secure intake, validation, structured extraction, asynchronous statuses, callbacks, tenant permissions, result recovery and ongoing integration maintenance. The relevant comparison is the total cost of building and operating that workflow, not only the raw processing charge.
What volumes are included?
Each plan comes with a clear monthly allowance. The BASE plan includes up to 10,000 files and 50,000 pages per month, while PACK10 includes up to 50,000 files and 250,000 pages. There are no per-page or per-API-call charges within your allowance, and a per-tenant rate limit keeps performance consistent for everyone.
How accurate is the OCR technology?
Our OCR engine delivers high accuracy across diverse document types and languages, though results vary with document quality, layout and scan condition. We use advanced AI models and keep improving them to handle edge cases and specialized formats.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes, you can cancel your subscription at any time with no penalties or fees. You'll continue to have access until the end of your current billing period.
What file formats are supported?
We support PDF files, images (PNG, JPEG, TIFF, etc.), and scanned documents. Our API can handle multi-page documents and extract text in over 100 languages with high accuracy.
Is my data secure?
Security is a priority. Data in transit is protected with TLS/HTTPS encryption, and your documents are processed securely. Documents are retained only for a limited period to deliver the service, and we follow careful security practices and access controls.
Do you offer enterprise contracts?
